Leland Nelson Clark was a 58 years old self-employed contractor, something he had done for most of his life. He was a loving husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
He was enjoying life and living it to its fullest when he discovered a lump in his neck. A second opinion in October of 2000 informed his family that Leland had been diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin's and Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. Little did anyone realize that it would turn into an eight-year journey.
Due to Leland's courage, his positive inspiring attitude and his love for life, his family was compelled to give back to individuals and families going through similar situations.
